Renegade Fly: A simple, versatile fly that can be dead drifted dry, swung at the conclusion of the drift and actively retrieved sub-surface all on the same cast. A false cast or two and it's a dry fly again! It also makes an effective trailer as a second dry fly, as an emerger or behind a nymph or leech.

Tips: For quick tie short cuts rely on the bronze finish of the hook and omit the tinsel tag. Wrap your thread around the peacock herl for strength and omit the wire, which adds more durability than segmentation or flash.
